experiments

a few things i’ve been working on.

ranger

your forward-deployed engineer.

you talk through a customer problem with ranger, agree on a plan, and it gets to work in a linux machine. i built the loop from that conversation to reading the repo, changing the code and checking the result. in the current build, it’s completed a two-file change end to end.

trace

an agent should be able to show you the code it’s talking about.

i built trace to search a repo locally and return the exact lines behind an answer. it checks that those lines still match the file before handing them to the agent. on my M4, median lexical and structural queries took 17–74 ms across grafana, typescript and vs code, after indexing.

relay bam

i built a rust prototype for forwarding bundles to a block builder.

it brings pyth prices and market-maker prioritization behind one ffi interface. i tested the flow with a simulated bam connection, fee transfers and attestation.

meridian

i wanted to take a dao proposal on solana and execute it on an evm chain.

meridian sends the proposal through wormhole to an executor that checks the message and runs the call once. i deployed it to solana devnet and holesky, with a mock squads approval.

equilibrium

an experiment in keeping a stablecoin pool balanced.

i built weighted pools for USDC, USDT and PYUSD in anchor, raising fees as the balances drift apart. i tested the mechanics with mock tokens.

soon-migrate

moving an anchor project to soon meant changing its network configuration and checking its oracles.

i wrote a small rust cli to update the configuration and flag oracle usage that needs attention. it’s published on crates.io as soon-migrate.
